🌿 OUR STORY

The Lancaster at Silver Creek began as something simple.

A piece of land, a historic tobacco barn, and a vision to restore it in a way that respected its history while creating a place we could enjoy with family and friends.

We purchased the farm in 2005 and, over time, began bringing the barn back to life—preserving its original structure while thoughtfully improving it for comfort, usability, and long-term care.

What started as a personal project gradually became something more.

As the space took shape, we found ourselves gathering here more often—hosting small celebrations, welcoming friends, and using the property as a place to slow down and reconnect. It became clear that the setting had a way of bringing people together in a way that felt natural and unforced.

Rather than turning it into a high-volume destination, we made the decision to share it in a limited and intentional way.

Today, The Lancaster at Silver Creek remains a privately owned farmstead that we open selectively for gatherings throughout the year. By keeping reservations limited, we’re able to maintain the character of the property and offer each group the time and flexibility to use the space in a way that feels personal.

The barn itself reflects that balance—original structure paired with thoughtful updates, creating a setting that is both authentic and comfortable.

The surrounding property remains just as important. Open space, natural views, and a quiet setting along Silver Creek all contribute to the overall experience.

We’ve chosen to keep things simple:

so that each group can focus on what matters most—spending time together.
